Around 1.7m stretch the truth to get the girls. 4m lie about how many people they have slept with, while 2.5m often lie to cover up their cheating. Dating website benaughty.com also found that 25% more men than women try to hide the truth about their fidelity, while 3% more brag about their sexual history. Max Polyakov, from the website, said: "Men are more likely to brag about their previous sexual experiences to add to their 'bad-boy' image and increase their appeal to women.
