I AM STARTING A LOCAL SITE.
I HAVE ACCESS TO MAGAZINE, 3 RADIO STATIONS ALONG WITH VARIOUS OTHER MARKETING MEDIUMS.
SO TAKING THE COSTS OF PROMOTING OUT, WHAT OTHER BIG COSTS AM I REALLY LOOKING AT?
I HEAR PEOPLE SAYING 5 MILLION DOLLARS AND I'M SCRATCHING MY HEAD.
I PLAN TO RUN THE SITE FREE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS SO I ONLY REALLY HAVE TO PAY FOR HOSTING AND SITE BUILD.
I'M ESTIMATING UNDER $10,000 (PROMOTING EXCLUDED)
IF I'M ON CRACK SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME.

Hi,

Marketing is usually the biggest cost in starting-up a dating website. The second biggest cost will be the development cost. The deveopment cost will vary on the use of technology, functionalities and where it was developed. The cost could be anywhere between 10,000 to 20,000 for a premium dating website. This cost will go up if the website development was done in the USA or in the developed world.

You should look to oursource this to India or China.
